It was a great day recently in North Mobile, Alabama for high schoolers wanting to learn about being a union carpenter or millwright! Mid-South Training Program Millwright Instructor Robert Mitchell and Carpenter Instructor Ralph Maddox attended the Mobile County Public Schools Career & Technical Education Career Fair to educate the young men and women about the benefits of a career as a union craftsman. They met with dozens of students, 21 of whom expressed an interest in applying for an apprenticeship once they graduate in May 2023. Well done, Robert and Ralph!
